Being Chic with Salame

Gallo Salame, which was started in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1910 is celebrating their 100th year!

They kicked off the anniversary celebration this evening at Trattoria 1910. The restaurant is in the former John Colins' old space at 90 Natoma St. and will be open just one month serving salami and pepperoni-based meals, and lunches at no cost.

The kick off event was complete with delicious eats and a few celebs including Bill and Giuliana Rancic. Check out the pics of me with the Rancic’s! They are so nice and Giuliana even told me that I looked “so chic”. Amazing!!!!!

To further give thanks to the city it calls home and its residents, Gallo Salame will pledge $15,000 to Project Homeless Connect along with a 2,010 pound donation of Gallo Salame signature products to the San Francisco Food Bank.

I love St.Maarten!

I couldn’t have asked for more in a vacation.
1.) Amazing Friend
2.) Beautiful Location
3.) Perfect Weather

I had such a great time in St. Maarten. I will absolutely be going back.

Proposal of a Different Kind

It’s no surprise that as an Etsy seller, I often browse around the site looking for unique items which inevitably leads to me being an Etsy buyer. I’ve been thrilled with every purchase I’ve made on Etsy and I often find myself becoming a return customer to many of the shops I buy from.

I recently reached out to one of my favorite shops with a unique business proposal. Downstairs Designs is an Etsy seller that makes The In Touch Clutch which is a perfect and trendy way to organize your items. The In Touch Clutch is a way to stay close to what you hold near and dear. Carry all of your items in one place and have it ready on a moments notice.

With each purchase off The In Touch Clutch you receive it packed with a few little goodies in the pocket including a sharpie pen and now……….a FREE CARD from Hello Cupcake! Hope you enjoy!

I’m looking forward to seeing where this joint venture takes us.

Christoph and I are engaged!

I’ll add more details soon but in the mean time, this is where he proposed. How he managed to order a rainbow for the proposal is beyond me. I’m so excited!!!!!

*Sigh*……Etsy, how I love thee

So last night I went to an ESTY meet up group in San Francisco. A few of the Etsy admins were in town for a web 2.0 conference and were having a meet up at Crossroads Café.

Talk about a networking opportunity! There were around 5 people from the Etsy office that filled different capacities. They did some introductions then opened the floor for Q&A. As an Etsy seller, it was amazing to get some insight to what other sellers are doing, struggles they’re having, what they want to see, and what’s working/not working for them.

The Etsy team also gave some great insight as to what’s in the pipeline (exciting stuff) and then they were available for some one on one face time towards the end.

I don’t know what else to say besides…..IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! Thank you Etsy team for really humanizing the work that goes on in the office and for the feedback. You’re doing such great work!!!

P.S.- I got an Etsy shirt! Ginger and I love it :)

Fresh, Fun and Fruity

I’ve been hard at work coming up with new creations for Hello Cupcake. I’ve decided my new aesthetic is going to be simple shapes turned into objects with fun colors. I’m really happy with the way these came out. I think they look fun and fresh and I would love to receive one of these cards in the mail!

All of the new work can be found in my ETSY Shop. I hope you enjoy! There’s more to come.
