2010 Resolution Recap

Last January, I blogged my three resolutions for 2010. I accomplished 2 out of 3. I’m ok with that. It would have been nice to have met all 3, but that’s life and I will just roll that resolution into 2011!

Here’s a recap of my 2010 resolutions and how I did:

Resolution 1: Learn how to sew and incorporate that into Hello Cupcake
Result: I did! I mean I really did! This last year I made a toy for Ginger, a dress, the tank top in the picture, 2 prize winning Halloween costumes, a screen print pet pillow and a ruffle pillow!*Resolution 2: Participate in a craft show: I think this one may be the hardest. I will have to build up a collection of work and then get accepted into a show. I’ve already got my sights set on the December Renegade Craft Fair
Result: Check! It wasn’t the Renegade but I did participate in Indie Mart. It was a success and a GREAT learning experience.Resolution 3: Practice Bikram Yoga: My goal is 2-3 times per week. There’s a woman at my studio that went for 365 consecutive days! A year of yoga without a break. If she can do that, I can surely do it a few times a week!
Result: Fail. Total fail. I probably worked out an average 2-3 times per month! This resolution will HAVE to roll into 2011.

Bottom Line: Good for me!
*I also have a few funny projects I started that went into the scrap pile. I will have to blog those later :)
