Checking out the Kate Spade 25% off Friends and Family saleHaving a great friend in town:Going for a run with a girlfriend.Doing a Sunday Funday and continue stressing about what to wear for our engagement pictures.

Engaging in Some Stress

I’m stressing. I’ll be honest and start with that. We take our engagement pictures in less than a week and I’m not ready. What should I wear? What's he going to wear? Where are we going to shoot!?!

Want:
I want to shoot in three different locations wearing three different outfits (There are so many sides to the Stacy/Christoph duo - It just can’t be captured in one scene!)
1. ) Fancy schmancy look in our apartment where he proposed wearing my BCBG dress from the sample sale
2.) Cute outdoor with a nice background (Chrissy Field, Lyon street steps???? Help!) Wearing a casual dress?
3.)Fun/casual outdoor. Ice cream shop? Cupcakes? Taking the G-Dawg to the park? Wearing jeans and a cute top/sweater?

Don’t want:
I don’t want the pictures turning out how we think we should be portrayed to fit into a wedding blog. I want it to stay true to who we really are.
1.) We wouldn’t bring a typewriter to a picnic. No typewriter.
2.) I don’t have a mustache nor do I want one. No mustaches on sticks.
3.) No prop overload. I love you….but I don’t want a chalkboard in every pic that spells it out.

This is not a magazine shoot. I want pictures I can hang in my house and I don't want to look back at them in 20 years and go “what the heck was that about?”

So, who has thoughts? Sorry if you’re offended. You don’t have to be in our pictures.

Goooooo Team!

I’m not a huge sports fan. This is mainly because of the amount of time Christoph spends focusing on sports. I’m just slightly resentful.

However….because Christoph is a sports fan and a long time San Francisco Giants fan I hear every game. Basically it’s on the tv - I am focused on something else – Christoph watches, cheers, yells and sometimes scares me with how into it he gets.

So last week when I got to go to one of the final games for the NL West division as part of my job he was slightly jealous. When I say jealous, I mean he was over the top, wished he could be me for a day jealous. That’s right.

To top it off, before the game I got to do some really cool things!

I got to go down on the field.This is me, right in front of home plate.

Oh, and I met…..Johnny Knoxville. That’s right, he’s a fan of the Stace.
