Having my Etsy shop really affords me the opportunity to connect with people on such a unique level. From baby shower invitations to mother’s day cards. I get to do it all.
Last summer I was working with a customer who was being laid off and wanted custom stationery when I came up with the idea to make a job seekers kit for correspondence with potential employers.A few weeks ago I got an email from a lady named Lindsey.
Lindsey is training for a 100 mile bike ride to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (100 miles!!!!!). She had seen the job seekers kit and was looking to customize it to help her fundraise for her ride.We worked together and came up with the plan for the kit to include thank you cards, calling cards with information on where to donate and return address labels. What an awesome thing to help support Lindsey in her efforts! If you’d like to donate to her cause, you can do so HERE. You can also follow her progress on her blog as she trains for her 100 mile ride! I have to warn you, she is an incredibly honest and heartfelt writer (i.e. this post made me cry.....I really related with Christoph's line of work and what it must be like for him.)
Good Luck Lindsey!!!!!!! I’m rooting for you!
