Would You Have Done it Differently

Last Saturday, Christoph asked me a question that stills has me thinking.

“Would you have considered getting married at a courthouse and then having a small reception for our closest friends and family?”

One year ago, my answer would have been absolutely not. Today, if that opportunity were still available, I would have seriously considered it.

Planning a wedding is high stress, high drama and high cost.

Make no mistake about it; I can NOT wait until our wedding day. I do believe it will be the most special day of my life thus far and everything I’ve had to endure in the months leading up will have been worth it.

It’s just very interesting to think, if I’d only known then, what I know now……what would I have done differently. Guess we will never know.

  1. It will be worth it:) But it is only ONE day, and you will enjoy every second of it. I am sure it will be perfect and worth all the planning;)Thanks for my awesome cards! I love the calling cards the most and have already handed some out! I will do a post about them very soon;) I love your blog already!

  2. I second Lindsey! My husband was hesitant the whole way through. After the wedding day, he told he was so glad we did it because of everyone we shared it with, the atmosphere, and the food. It's going to be great! :)
