Step Aside Fear of Failure! I’m on MSN!

If you had told me in January of 2011 that my Prescription For Love Valentines would catch the eye of an editor at MSN.com I would have stared at you in disbelief. And yet, here we are today! One of my designs is being shown on MSN!!!!!I have to be honest though. I truly had to overcome some fears of failure to get to this point. Here’s why:

In June of 2009 Christoph finished residency and I threw him a small party and came up with the idea to make prescription bottle invitations. The guests loved the invitations! But I was a chicken and I sat on the idea for 18 months!

For 18 months I was scared to take the leap and place a bulk order for prescription bottles. I was afraid no one would buy them and I would be stuck with 100’s of amber colored vials.

In early January of 2011, I decided to just give it a shot and bought 200 prescription bottles. I listed them on Etsy and within two weeks I had sold 55 bottles! I’ve since sold 500+ (I’ve lost count) and here we are today!!!!

So, what’s holding you up? Are you sitting on the next big idea or product because you’re too afraid to take a risk? Do it! You never know what might happen!
