United Words Project: Kansas

I had just moved from Texas to Laguna Beach in 2005 and I had just one girlfriend. We were out at a bar one night when we met Michelle. Michelle and I chatted and before leaving, she asked for my number and called me that next week. No hesitation. She wanted to be friends and was going to make it happen. She had just moved in to town from Kansas.Because Michelle put herself out there not only did I make an amazing friend but I also met my husband. It’s a long story for another day, but I met Christoph through Michelle. Michelle changed my life when she extended that olive branch and lucky, I grabbed on.This year I’ve set out to map all 50 US States with text! This is state 8 of 50.
