In just a few days I’ll be packing up my bags and headed out
to Utah for Alt Summit. Having gone to
Alt last year, I know that business cards are a big deal. Like a really big
deal. Last year I designed my own
business cards (still love them) but this year I wanted to kick it up a notch
and have them letterpressed by a professional.

I learned about Rebecca Peters Press in Oakland from a bride
who was working with her on letterpress wedding invitations. I knew
that I wanted my business cards to be simple - understated really. Minimal color and simple in the design. I let Rebecca take it from there.
The day Rebecca was printing my business cards I went to her
Oakland studio to watch the entire process firsthand. From the cutting of the paper to the mixing
of the color. I loved having the
opportunity to be involved and provide on the spot feedback. Truth be told, it was awesome to have a few
hours to chat with Rebecca and learn about her process and how her business got
started.
If you’re looking for letterpress invitations or business
cards, Rebecca is your girl!
Thanks for this post.
ReplyDeleteLove the post about our business cards, the cards are unique-like you and your business-and it is wonderful to not only see that you used another entrepreneur, but someone just as artistic as you are. The cards look gorg!
