Give-A-Way with Diamond Candle

It’s not an exaggeration when I say that we keep a candle burning pretty much around the clock when we’re home.   I love the light scent that fills the room and the glowing light sets the perfect ambiance both day and night.  So when Diamond Candles reached out to me to try one of their all-natural soy based candles I was thrilled.  Oh, and what’s that you say!?! Each and every candle has a ring inside worth anywhere from $10 to $5,000! Gimmie!Give a way with diamond candleI poured over the scents available on the Diamond Candles website and decided to go with the honeysuckle candle.  I’m hooked.  The candle is enough to fill a large room with the scent of fresh blooms but light enough not to overpower the space.  I also love that it is soy based so it burns clean without leaving that black soot around the edge of the jar.Diamond candle ringIt took some restraint but I was VERY patient when it came to pulling out the ring.  Truth be told, I figured the longer I waited the less wax that would be wasted and the longer my candle would last!Diamond candle ringThe ring is really pretty!  I’m fairly certain it’s a $10 ring but in my honest opinion, the ring is really a fun bonus to a great candle.  I’m looking forward to wearing it and the process of waiting to reveal the ring while enjoying the candle was really fun!

Diamond Candle is kind enough to allow me to give-a-way a Diamond Candle to one of my readers.

Good Luck!

Sarah's 30th Birthday Piñata

Last week one of my favorite friends in the world (Sarah) turned 30!  As luck would have it her birthday fell on a Monday and she also happened to have an important business trip in Las Vegas that day.  Rather than let my good friend celebrate her birthday alone I flew out to Vegas to celebrate with her! Yay!
30th birthday party idea DIYI decided to bring a mini party to our hotel room and made here this 30 piñata out of recycled cereal boxes!  I honed in on my piñata making skills at my time working for Oh Happy Day (Click for piñata How To’s)!
